Daniel R. Morrison, PhD. 

Sociologist, author, speaker.

I work in the areas of medical sociology, the sociology of ignorance, interactionist social theory, and anti-black racism/white supremacy. My scholarship is often team-based, and I have several projects with collaborators at Auburn University, University of Illinois — Chicago, and Abilene Christian University.

My everyday life includes academic affairs at UAH and teaching sociology courses. I maintain an interest in the history, development, and practice of clinical ethics consultation.

I am an Associate Professor of Sociology and Department Chair at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
